What are auras and warning symptoms? 🤔
Aura symptoms can be a warning that a seizure is about to happen. Symptoms can vary from person to person and may be different for different types of seizures.

- Nausea or stomach discomfort
- Visual disturbances, such as flashing lights or blurred vision

- Muscle twitching or jerking
- A sudden wave of tiredness or fatigue.
What to do if you feel a seizure coming 🚨
While auras can be scary, if you know your symptoms, you can take steps to protect yourself if you know a seizure is on the way.
If you experience these warning symptoms, sit down, find a safe location, and get help.
Other symptoms can be: fatigue, confusion, anxiety, irritability, dizziness, headache, sleep disturbances.
Similarly to auras, these warning symptoms can tell you that you might be at risk of having a seizure during the following 24h.
When you experience these symptoms, you might want to postpone risky activities or social events, and stay in the company of people that can help you if a seizure occurs.
You should also talk to your doctor about these symptoms, they might want to schedule an appointment with you to record the possible event.
